There’s nothing which makes me happier than entering a well-stocked bakery.

If you’re a fellow bread-lover too, showcase your love for these baked goods by hand-crafting your own tiny basket of breads.

In this Basket of Breads workshop, you will create an assortment of breads - two hot cross buns, two croissants and a baguette, from scratch. You will also get a tiny basket to display your breads in.

You will learn a wide variety of techniques - molding raw polymer clay into an assortment of realistic bread shapes, creating varied textures of the breads, brushing on different shades of pastel chalks to create the baked colours, ‘drizzling’ on chocolate sauce and white frosting etc.

You can choose to make the little basket of breads into a display trinket, or as a magnet (to be used on fridge/whiteboard). At the end of the workshop, bring home your home-made miniature sculpture, all ready to be displayed proudly in the home/office.

This workshop will be taught by Jocelyn Teo, founder of AiClay who has had many years of experience in teaching miniature food craft workshops since 2011. No experience with polymer clay is required for the workshop, and it’s designed for ages 10 to infinity. Do note that this series of workshops in July/Aug will be the last for a few months at least, before Jocelyn goes for her maternity break.

At AiClay’s workshops, experience and learn the magical craft of making realistic miniature food replicas using quality polymer clay!

AiClay’s miniature food workshops are designed for ages 10 and to infinity.

No matter if you're the office keyboard warrior who wants a break from everyday routine, craft-loving you who would like to learn a new skill, or bridesmaids looking for an interesting hen party experience!

Enjoy a fully-guided craft workshop, where you experience the wonderful calming effects of creating with your hands. We'll craft, chit chat and eat, it's awesome fun! :) You'll get to bring home your works at the end of the workshop. As tempted as you may be, please remember that the works are all inedible!

Light refreshments will be provided during the workshop, and all materials and usage of tools and equipment are included in the fees.
